you know how it is, can't leave boots or superdrug without buying something!
so today i thought i would share with you the few things that i have picked up over the past couple of days.
|can we just take a moment for my bedsheets|
firstly i am going to start with a product which isn't from boots or superdrug, it's from a dutch brand called Hema. you can find them in Birmingham Grand Central Station or online. the shop sells everything from food, to stationary. from there i picked up the bye bye eye makeup remover oil just to make sure that i get all my mascara off at night ready for a nice application in the morning.
now we can hit boots where i went to the NYX stand which i had been waiting for, for months. whilst there i had to pick up one of there hd concealers in 01 porcelain. and then i had to get my hands on one of there matte liquid lipsticks, i went for a nice nude shade to start and picked up the colour Istanbul, and from my first impression of that i will be going back to get more.
then i hit superdrug, which seems to be my drugstore of choice for makeup. whilst there i picked up the miss sporty InstaGlow foundation, the brand has really stepped up it's game lately and i wanted to see what there new products were like, so i picked it up in 001 ivory (for my pale days) and 002 light for when i have fake tanned.
then i was on the hunt for a new lip balm, i have the driest skin and lips known to man at the moment, but i love matte lipsticks so i need to tackle the lips pronto, so i picked up the Blistex intensive moisturiser, to hopefully turn my pout from the desert that it is.
the Nivea post shave balm, i think is the right product anyway discovered by NikkieTutorials to be the holy grail base for makeup so i though it would give it ago.
then to finish of i picked up the Freedom pro studio fixing spray to hopefully help with making matte foundations looking a bit more normal on my skin.
